Generosity Coach

People often ask me why I became a Generosity Coach.  The answer is simple:  my husband and I worked with a coach like me, and it CHANGED our lives.

Working with a coach, we stepped back and took a FRESH LOOK.  We had never really defined WHY we were giving, WHAT mattered most to us, or HOW we wanted to show up in the world. Once we gained that CLARITY, everything changed. Our giving became more FOCUSED. Our decisions became EASIER. And giving back once again became a source of PURPOSE, JOY, and FULFILLMENT.

That experience inspired the work I do today. I help people create the same kind of CLARITY so their generosity feels more INTENTIONAL, MEANINGFUL, and IMPACTFUL

Intentional Giving

In my last video, I shared how my husband and I gained clarity about our approach to giving back. Today, I want to show you what INTENTIONAL GIVING looks like in practice. One of the first things we created was a simple personal giving vision: “Support efforts that create equity and opportunity in the communities where we live.” That became our filter for every giving decision. That one question changed everything. That’s the power of intentional giving. It changes not only where you give, but how you decide, why you give, and the fulfillment you receive from making a difference. Do you have a personal vision for your giving, or are you making decisions one opportunity at a time? #GenerosityCoach #IntentionalGiving #Clarity #ValuesBasedGiving

Most people who give back don’t think of themselves as philanthropists

Have you ever felt like your charitable giving just isn’t as meaningful as it used to be? That’s the work that I do. I help people who are already giving back take a more intentional approach so their time, energy, and resources are aligned with what matters most to them and actually creates meaningful impact. #PhilanthropyCoach #Intentional #clarity

Have you ever felt guilty saying NO to a worthy cause?

When giving back is important to you, opportunities to help are everywhere. A friend asks you to support a fundraiser. A nonprofit needs volunteers. A board seat opens up. Because we care, we say YES. First, those opportunities bring purpose and fulfillment.

But over time, something changes. Giving starts to feel REACTIVE instead of INTENTIONAL. What once brought joy can start to feel like an obligation.

As a philanthropy coach, I help people step back and gain CLARITY about what matters most, where they want to focus, and how they can create the greatest IMPACT. Because the goal isn’t to HELP EVERYONE. The goal is to MAKE THE GREATEST DIFFERENCE where your values, interests, and resources align.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to start a conversation.
